1. Go to San Joaquin Bank’s website at http://www.sjbank.com
2. Type in your NetTeller ID and click "ENTER" to login.

3. If you have not set up your personal identification image, a random image will appear. Verify that your NetTeller ID is presented in the “ID:” field and type your NetTeller Password in the field provided. Click “Submit” to login to internet banking.

4. The next screen will allow you to choose a security image. If you do not like the images presented to you, click the “More Images >>>” button. Once you find an image you like, click on the picture and click “Finished”.

5. The image you chose will help you verify that you are on San Joaquin Bank’s legitimate internet banking site and not a fraudulent one. You will see your personal security image after you provide your NetTeller ID and when you log in to NetTeller. While conducting online banking transactions you will also notice the image you chose in the bottom left hand corner of your screen.

6. Prior to setting up Multi-Factor Authentication, our systems will monitor your behavior. When our systems have gathered enough data you will be prompted with the screen below. Click “Continue” after you have read the information on the screen.

7. After clicking “Continue” you will be presented with a screen that has three questions. The questions presented are sample questions and you may change them.

8. You will want to choose three questions to which only you will know the answer and that you will not forget. In order to change the questions presented, you will need to click the down arrow to drop down the list of available questions. Click on the questions that you will want to use.

9. Once you have chosen three questions you will need to provide answers to your questions. Type an answer to each question in the field provided below each question that you chose.

10. If one of the questions that you have chosen does not apply to you, choose another question. Never enter “N/A” or “Not Applicable” to a security question. If you do not have any brothers or sisters you would not reply to the second question in the image below. A response of “I do not have any brothers or sisters” would be considered your answer to the second question and it would be difficult to remember. In order to make answering the security questions easier, keep responses to single words instead of phrases.

11. An example of some of the questions have been provided in the image below. If you were to respond to the second question with “CSUB” during enrollment, you will need to respond with the same value if you are prompted for it in the future. If you are later prompted with question number 2 below, a response of “California State University of Bakersfield” would be an incorrect response and would fail the authentication process. The only correct response would be “CSUB” because that was how you originally answered that question during enrollment. Once you have responded to the questions that you have chosen with answers that will be easy to remember, click “Submit”.

12. After you click “Submit” you will be given a chance to change your questions or answers. If you need to change your questions or answers, click on “Edit”. If you are happy with your choices, click “Confirm” to continue.

13. After you have setup Multi-Factor Authentication you will be presented with the screen below to confirm that we have received your answers. Your account is now protected against fraudulent use.

14. If you conduct a high-risk transaction or you login from an unusual location, you will be presented with two of your three questions. You will need to type in the same answers that you provided when you setup Multi-Factor Authentication. If you provide an incorrect answer for one or more of your questions for two consecutive times you will be locked out of the Multi-Factor Authentication. If you forget or lock yourself out of the Multi-Factor Authentication system, you will need to contact NetTeller support at 661-281-0360.
